There have been rumors flying around for eons now that Nancy Pelosi would step down.
She sees the writing on the wall and knows what’s coming in 2022, and she wants to get the hell outta dodge.
I gave been writing about it for months now.
Then, Pelosi pulled a “fast one” and announced she was running for her seat again, and everyone assumed that she would remain speaker.
Now, I highly doubt Pelosi will run again, but now WAPO is reporting that Nancy will indeed step down from her leadership role at the close of this Congres.
There’s nothing this woman wants more than to be out of Congress by the time President Trump makes his “comeback.” Trust me.
There’s not enough vodka in the world that could get her through another round of that.
Daily Wire reported that a report by The Washington Post on Monday claimed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to “step down” after the 2022 midterms as Democrats prepare for new leadership in the days ahead.
“After almost 19 years as House Democratic leader, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) is expected to step down at the close of this Congress, ending a historic career that included trying to end George W. Bush’s Iraq War, implementing President Barack Obama’s signature health-care law, impeaching President Donald Trump twice and squeezing President Biden’s sweeping agenda through a narrowly controlled House,” the Post’s Marianna Sotomayor wrote.
The article also discussed some of the party’s suggested replacements. New York Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries was noted as “the early favorite.”
Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) and Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) would certainly rank in the discussions as well, though the report suggested some Democrats are ready for new leadership.
Well, ding-dong the witch is almost gone.
She’ll be outta here in one year.
Amazing!
And I think, in this case, her replacement can’t possibly be worse than she is – that’s like saying someone could be worse than Hillary Clinton.
I just don’t think it’s humanly possible.
But the good news is, whoever it is, they’ll likely be the “minority leader,” so the amount of damage they can do will be minimal…as long as Republicans grow a spine and hold the line.
